Port Royal Speedway’s Gearing Up For Keystone RaceSaver Challenge On Saturday

Story By: BRAD STRAWSER / PORT ROYAL SPEEDWAY – PORT ROYAL, PA – Port Royal Speedway looks forward to hosting the 13th running of the Keystone RaceSaver Challenge. The event will consist of the Penns Valley Meat Market PA Sprint Series RaceSaver sprint cars, and supported by the Zimmerman Truck Repair limited late models and the wingless super sportsman.

The Keystone RaceSaver Challenge boasts an impressive total purse of $19,000, ensuring intense competition and thrilling racing throughout the evening.

Over the years, the race has seen participation from 570 competitors, averaging 52 cars per year, with a peak of 68 entries in 2021. Among the 11 different drivers who have claimed victory since its inception, defending champion Ken Duke Jr., Logan Spahr, and 2019 winner Nick Sweigart will vie to join Jeff Miller as two-time winners. Other past champions include Garrett Bard, Sean Campbell, Jeff Geiges, Kyle Smith, Darren Miller, and Jake Waters.

Fans are invited to join us at Port Royal Speedway in the early afternoon on June 29th. Pit gates open at 4PM, followed by general admission gates at 5PM. Hot laps commence at 6PM, with the green flag dropping for racing action at 7PM.

General admission tickets are priced at $20, while pit passes are available for $35. Students aged 13-18 can enjoy the action for just $10, and kids under 12 are admitted free of charge.
