Story By: TYLER ALTMEYER / BROCK ZEARFOSS RACING – JONESTOWN, PA – Saturday’s big show at Keller Auto Speedway in Hanford, California, produced a big result out of Jonestown, Pennsylvania’s Brock Zearfoss, ultimately capping his evening with an impressive hard charge from 18th to finish eighth; Zearfoss’ 21st top-ten of his 2021 World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series season.
Dubbed the Tom Tarlton Classic, the $21,000-to-win showstopper welcomed the best that the Outlaws and California had to offer, simultaneously concluding the final West Coast Swing of Zearfoss’ 2021 Outlaws season.
With his visit to the pacific time zone now complete, Zearfoss, driver of the Brock Zearfoss Racing, Moose’s LZ Bar & Grill, Heavy Equipment, Loaders & Parts Inc., C&D Rigging Inc., Meckley’s Limestone Products, Berkebile Oil Company, Klick Lewis Cars, J.P. Adamsky Trucking, X-1 Race Cars, No. 3Z sprint car, will now begin his big trip home, set to invade Eldora Speedway and Lernerville Speedway on Friday and Saturday, September 24-25, ultimately capping his long trek across the United States with Williams Grove Speedway’s $75,000-to-win National Open on Friday and Saturday, October 1-2.
“It was a great trip along the West Coast. We had an absolute blast, and to end things like they did at Keller Auto Speedway makes it even better. But, we’re ready to head home,” Zearfoss explained, who is currently ninth in the World of Outlaws championship, as well as a World of Outlaws Rookie of the Year frontrunner. “I can’t thank my team enough for their hard work over the last few weeks. We were a long way from home and that can be really distracting. But, they pushed through and I’m proud of their efforts. I’m excited to have the opportunity to race in front of my family and friends. It’s been a long time.”
The visit to Eldora, the BeFour the Crowns Showdown, and the visit to Lernerville, the Commonwealth Clash, will each award $10,000 paydays.
