Story By: BOYD’S SPEEDWAY – RINGGOLD, GA – Dale McDowell and a field of 39 Super Late Models put on a show that was symbolic of the 2022 Racing Season at Boyd’s Speedway on Saturday.
It was simply spectacular.
Starting in second position, Mac Daddy would quickly seize the lead in the 40 Lap Iron Man Series Feature.
He was challenged many times throughout the race but simply would not be denied on this day.
Mack McCarter started in the fifth position and worked his way up to challenge MacDowell but finished second.
Corey Hedgecock made an impressive run starting in the ninth position and moved up to finish third.
Hedgecock would come back though and win the Crate 604 race later in the afternoon.
