Story By: KENNY SHUPP / OUTLAW SPEEDWAY & WOODHULL RACEWAY – HORSEHEADS, NY – In a recent joint announcement between Tyler Siri of the Outlaw Speedway as well as Terry and Niki Brewer of the Woodhull Raceway, the promoters of each track revealed that the Annual Arnot Mall Car Show in Horseheads, NY would be a combined effort between the two popular Upstate New York race venues.
For the first time in some two decades, the tracks will team up to promote the Arnot Mall Car Show which is scheduled for March 10-12, 2023.
Cars will roll in after the Friday night, March 10 business hours with cars exiting on Sunday, March 12 at the close of business.
Drivers will be able to register sometime after Jan. 1, 2023 with more information regarding registration forthcoming and as it becomes available will be posted on both tracks Facebook accounts.
For many racers this is long over- due particularly with the rising costs of travel along with food and lodging that goes along with being involved in an event of this capacity particularly when some drivers entered both car shows.
According to both Siri and the Brewers, “This can only be a win/win for everyone involved. A lot of the buzz has gone out of the car shows over the past several years and by teaming up for the 2023 Arnot Mall Car Show it is only going to better promote both venues and put the pazazz back into the event. It will give racers from both tracks that may not normally compete against each other an opportunity to come together for a few days, rub elbows and for the fans this will be a can’t miss event.”
It was also announced by the Brewers of Woodhull that their 2023 race schedule is still in the works and will be released when available. Siri indicated that Outlaw Speedways schedule of events for 2023 is 99% done and should be made public within a matter of days.
So, racers and fans mark the dates. March 10-12 for the Reunion of the Outlaw Speedway / Woodhull Raceway Arnot Mall Car Show at the Arnot Mall in Big Flats, NY.
