
Story By: TYLER ALTMEYER / BROCK ZEARFOSS RACING – JONESTOWN, PA – Fresh off of a 12th-place outcome at the always-exciting Federated Auto Parts Raceway at I-55 in Pevely, Missouri, the “Jonestown Jet” Brock Zearfoss will look ahead and begin preparations for a highly-anticipated, early season visit to Knoxville Raceway in Knoxville, Iowa, on Friday and Saturday, April 21-22.
In what will prove to be a valuable test session, Zearfoss will not only work to achieve his first World of Outlaws victory of the season during his two-day venture to the Sprint Car Capital of the World, but the Jonestown, Pennsylvania, native will also be taking notes, always looking ahead to highly anticipated Knoxville Nationals in mid August.
As mentioned, Zearfoss finished 12th in his recent battle in Pevely, lining up seventh on the A-Main grid after qualifying for the evening’s dash as the result of a heat race victory. Only padding his evening’s stat sheet, Zearfoss set the fourth-fastest time overall during qualifying time trials.
“We’re always ready to race at Knoxville Raceway. It’s a track everyone wants to win at and we’re hoping to add our names to the list,” Zearfoss, driver of the Moose’s LZ Bar & Grill, Heavy Equipment, Loaders & Parts Inc., C&D Rigging Inc., Klick Lewis Cars, J.P. Adamsky Trucking, Milton Hershey School, A. Lane Living, No. 3Z sprint car, said. “We’ll get to try our hands at Knoxville several times this year so it’s our goal to take advantage of those opportunities.”
Brock Zearfoss and Brock Zearfoss Racing will continue their 2023 World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series campaign with an early season doubleheader at the famed Knoxville Raceway in Knoxville, Iowa, on Friday and Saturday, April 21-22.
