Glen Ridge Motorsports Park DIRTcar 358-Modified Feature Captured By Jordan McCreadie
Story By: TOBY LAGRANGE / GLEN RIDGE MOTORSPORTS PARK – FULTONVILLE, NY – Jordan McCreadie made a giant leap towards his first career DIRTcar 358 Modified Track Championship at the Glen Ridge Motorsports Park Sunday night by picking up the popular win.
The win came over his main rival in the chase for the title, Lance Willix.
McCreadie held off a charging Willix to pick up the win over Brian Calabrese, Brett Graham and Carter Gibbons. McCreadie continues to hold the points lead.
Zach Buff took advantage of a late race restart to out distance rookie Tavien Blowers for the win in the Classic Muscle Parts DIRTcar Sportsman division. Blowers settled for second with Cody Ochs third, Brendan Gibbons fourth and points leader Andrew Buff fifth.
Current track points leader Luke Horning won the Ridge Runner 30, DIRTcar Pro Stock Series event over Shane Playford and Pete Stefanski. Please see the DIRTcar Pro Stock Series press release for more information.
Tyler Bobar won his second Limited Sportsman feature event of the season over a stout 15 car field. A.J. Greco charged through the field to finish second with Adam Fusco third, Sloan Cherko fourth and Connor Prokop fifth.
In other action, the Leatherstocking Credit Union DIRTcar Mini Stock events were won by Billy Hillman (Dual Cam) and Ken Hollenbeck (Single Cam). The held over event from May 7th was won by Jay Ingersoll (Dual Cam) and Bruce Liddle (Single Cam). Jason Samrov won the Street Stock feature event while A.J. Albreada (All-Star) and Braxton Dembek (Junior) won the Northeast Paving & Sealcoating Slingshot events.
The Glen Ridge Motorsports Park is back in action this Sunday night, September 3rd with all weekly divisions in action. The DIRTcar 358 Modified, Sportsman, Pro Stocks and Mini Stocks will crown their DIRTcar Champions with the track champions being crowned following the September 10th and 17th events. The pit gates open at 3pm, front gates at 4pm with hot laps at 5:30 pm and racing at 6pm.
