Story By: FIVE MILE POINT SPEEDWAY – KIRKWOOD, NY – For 73 consecutive years the Southern Tier fall season has included racing at Five Mile Point Speedway.
That tradition will continue one more time with a three race fall series that begins this Saturday. Racing begins at 5 p.m. on Saturday.
The fall racing events at Five Mile Point Speedway have a rich tradition. The great visual setting of changing leaves has provided a great backdrop for generations. As northeast racing facilities wind down the fall races have always seen drivers coming to the speedway from hours away to compete in these events.
This Saturday will be no different.
The three race 2023 Fall Series begins this Saturday, September 23rd with two other racing events to be hosted on Saturday, October 14th and Saturday, October 28th. Fall Series Champions will be decided on that final Saturday of October.
This Saturday the Modifieds will be the headliner as they race in a special 30 lap event paying $2,500 to win. The Street Stocks will make their first start of the season at Five Mile Point Speedway. This will be the first of two races for the division this fall.
Racing begins at 5 p.m. this Saturday. As always, children 8 years old and younger will be admitted into the grandstand when accompanied by an adult. Children ages 9-14 are only $5.

- Saturday, September 30th – Fall Series Race 1 – Modifieds, Sportsman, Factory Stocks 600 Mods, Futures, 4 Cylinder FWD vs. RWD, Novice – Street Stock Race 1 of 2.
- Saturday, October 14th – Fall Series Race 2 – Vintage Car Fall Spectacular – Sportsman, Factory Stocks, 600 Mods, Futures, 4 Cylinder FWD vs. RWD, Novice – Street Stock Race 2 of 2.
- Saturday, October 28th – Quarter Mile Saturday Fall Finale – Mods, Sportsman, Factory Stocks, 600 Mods, Futures, 4 Cylinder FWD vs. RWD, Novice.
