Story By: CHASE BRISCOE RACING – MOORESVILLE, NC – Current NASCAR Cup Series driver and third generation sprint car driver Chase Briscoe is reopening a 410 sprint car team under the Chase Briscoe Racing banner for the upcoming 2024 season.
In a partnership with Mahindra Tractors and Dorsett Automotive, Chase Briscoe Racing will contest a winged 410 sprint entry in a 35 race schedule throughout the country.
The team also has support from other notable sponsors such as Ford Performance, Diaedge Cutting Tools, and many more. Briscoe himself will be piloting the car for nearly half of the races that the team plans to enter, and up and coming midget standout Karter Sarff will be behind the wheel for the remainder of the schedule when Briscoe is unavailable.
Former driver and crew chief Kevin Briscoe will crew chief the Chase Briscoe Racing #5 entry for the season, as well as managing daily operations for the team.
Sprint car racing has always been a passion of the entire Briscoe family, and has been a hobby amongst generations. “Sprint car racing was really my first love. My grandfather (Richard Briscoe) started owning cars in 1976, and had many legends in the sport drive his #5 car. After that, my dad (Kevin Briscoe) took it over and raced for 22 years until I jumped in at the age of 13, so it’s really been there for me since the beginning” said Chase.
“Once I started the NASCAR journey I always knew I wanted to stay a part of the sport as an owner to give back to drivers I felt like deserved opportunities. I wouldn’t be where I am today without those opportunities, so I’m super excited this year to have Karter Sarff try winged sprint car racing for the first time” continued Briscoe.
“He did an amazing job in our midget at Chili Bowl, and he has a bright future ahead of himself. It will be a lot of fun for me to be able to race a few races this year with my dad again, as well as watching him and Karter go run as well.”
A full schedule for the team will be released at a later date.
