Column By: NICK GRAZIANO / WORLD OF OUTLAWS – MECHANICSBURG, PA – The Morgan Cup is on the line again at Williams Grove Speedway, May 10-11.

The contenders: World of Outlaws NOS Energy Drink Sprint Car Series drivers and PA Posse.

Last year, the Morgan Cup went to the World of Outlaws with Brad Sweet picking up his second win at the historic Pennsylvania track. It was the third time in the last five years that the Outlaws walked away as Morgan Cup champions.

Of the active PA Posse members, Lance Dewease, of Fayetteville, PA, is the only one to have scored the Cup for the Posse in the last 10 years. However, he was behind the wheel of the iconic Kreitz No. 69K for each of them. Now, he pilots the Barry and Brent Shearer-owned No. 12 Sprint Car.

In addition to the Morgan Cup, drivers will be competing for a $12,000 payday Friday night and then a $15,000 payday on Saturday.

The event leads to the second annual Milton Hershey School Sprint Car Experience at Hersheypark on Monday, May 13. World of Outlaws drivers and PA Posse members will speak with Milton Hershey students during the day and then attend a special meet-and-greet for all at Hersheypark Stadium throughout the day.
