Story By: BRAD STRAWSER / PORT ROYAL SPEEDWAY – PORT ROYAL, PA – In the Zimmerman Truck Repair Limited Late Model A-main for the Ron Zimmerman Tribute Race, on night one of the Lucas Oil Late Model Series Rumble by the River, Dillan Stake captured the victory.
Stake would start outside the front row, jump out to the early lead, and lead all 25 circuits to claim the 2nd annual running of the event as well as the $6,000 payday.
For the Mid-Atlantic Modified finish, Michael Altobelli would lead all 20 laps to win the feature event.
Port Royal Speedway will be back in action on Saturday August 24th for the Rumble by the River finale presented by University of Northwestern Ohio that pays $50,000 to win with the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series which will be supported by the Mid-Atlantic Modifieds racing for $10,000 to win.
