Story By: TYLER ALTMEYER / JW MOTORSPORTS – VINCENTOWN, NJ – An invasion by the nation’s finest attracted 49 entries for Lincoln Speedway’s Spring Showdown, and although Vincentown, New Jersey’s Justin Whittall was unable to qualify for the 35-lap, $10,000-to-win main event, an evening of competition with the Greatest Show On Dirt allows for growth and knowledge, working to transfer that knowledge into future starts when the Series returns to Posse Country.
Whittall, driver of the JG Kronenberger Fine Jewelry, Mid-Atlantic Transport, Pioneer Auto Body, Worldwide Bearings, Enterprise, Prime Composite Innovations, K Seal, No. 67 sprint car, capped his night with the World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series in the Last Chance Showdown; he was 16th.
“Racing with the best in the world will only help us improve,” Whittall said. “We’ll get an opportunity to race them again in the future. All we can do now is look ahead and prepare for another busy weekend in Pennsylvania.”
