The 270 Micro Sprints class promises to be a captivating race with Brandon Heist, last week’s winner, and the current point leader looking to continue his dominance with the Boyer brother, Mike and Dan, looking to put the Boyer name back at the top of the Linda’s Speedway points. Heist’s remarkable performance has established him as not only a formidable contender but he is also the defending champion of the class.
The Winged 600 Micro Sprints division has already witnessed two breathtaking races, won by the duo of Brent Shearer and Jason Swavely. However, it is Steve Whary who currently holds the point leader title, closely followed by Shearer and Whary’s son, Aiden Lutz.
Young talent takes center stage in the Junior Slingshots, with EJ Hatch from East Nassau, NY dominating the scene behind the wheel of the Schott Racing 10s. Hatch showcased his skill during the season opener, clinching victory and securing the point leader status after one race.
Continuing the young talent category is the Jr Sprints. Jase Smith has remained unbeaten so far in 2024. However, the competition is intensifying as the field continues to grow. The relentless pursuit of victory among these young guns will have spectators on the edge of their seats watching the future champions of our sport.
The Chargers class offers a blend of seasoned veterans and rising stars. Josh Michael impressively returned to victory lane in the season opener, staking his claim as a competitor. However, Eric Hollenbach, a familiar face in the points battle, and returning driver Justin Riegel are hot on Michael’s heels, ready to challenge his reign atop the leaderboard.
