Story By: RYAN DELPH / SPRING NATIONALS SERIES – MOUNT HOPE, WV – With only four Schaeffer’s Oil Spring Nationals Series presented by Coltman Farms Racing and fueled by Sunoco contests left on the 2024 calendar, the miniseries rolls into Beckley Motor Speedway this Saturday, May 11 for the annual running of the ‘Beckley USA 100.’
Established in 1977, the ‘Beckley USA 100’ is rich in history, but the storied race has never been sanctioned by the Spring Nationals tour until now. A whopping $20,053 top prize has been earmarked for the winner of Saturday’s 100-lap headliner out of an over $63,000 Super Late Model purse.
An open practice session ($100 per car) will officially kick off the ‘Beckley USA 100’ weekend at the Mount Hope, West Virginia facility on Friday, May 10. Joining the ground-pounding Super Late Models on the racing card on Saturday, May 11 will be the AAS Pro Late Model, Street Stock, SCDRA 4-Cylinder, Enduro, and Juice Box divisions. The pit gates will open at 2:00pm, the grandstands will open at 4:00pm, and the Drivers Meeting is slated for 6:30pm. Hot Laps will then take to the racetrack shortly following the conclusion of the Drivers Meeting.

The Spring Nationals tire rule in 2024 is Hoosier Racing Tire NLMT 2, 3, 4 and American Racer Tire 44, 48, Pro3/56, Pro4. Body rules and the Droop Rule will be the same as those agreed on by both the World of Outlaws Late Model Series and the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series – among others.
